We were honored to have the President of OXSI, Dr Teddy Tjandra, to be invited for the launch of Indonesia Carbon Capture and Storage Centre (ICCSC) with press conference held on Tuesday, 30th May 2023 at Hotel Mulia. The ceremony was opened by Bapak Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the
Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs of Indonesia, Ibu Dr Belladonna Troxylon Maulianda as the Executive Director and Ibu Merry Marteighianti as the Chairwoman of the ICCSC.

The launching event was well attended by CEOs, President Directors and Commissioners of many stakeholders from State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) as well as private sectors across a wide range of industry sectors.

This is also an opportunity for ICCSC to announce the 1st International and Indonesia CCS Forum that will be held on 11 - 12 September 2023 to provide a platform for stakeholders across countries to share experiences and knowledge on CCS technologies, best practices, and policies. This event aims to raise awareness and understanding of CCS potential and role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and to maximize Indonesia's potential as a future hub of CCS development. Through this event ICCSC is also willing to share Indonesia's readiness for green-future business such as: blue hydrogen, blue ammonia, and blue methanol; and promote regional cooperation as well as to identify and amplify CCS investment and partnership opportunities.
